Due to growth and expansion, a leading retailer with a number of branches across the UK are currently seeking a Branch Manager and Sales Assistant to cover their luxury showroom in Thurrock. You will be responsible for running the branch, meeting and greeting prospective clients, taking customer ideas through from concept to completion. The role will involve site visits to gain a full understanding of the products required, quoting from the product range through to the sale. Full training will be given on their complete range of products ensuring you have the knowledge to deliver a high level of service.
The successful applicant will have previous B2C sales experience, ideally with pricing high value goods, for example conservatories, cars or hot tubs, kitchens or bathrooms. You will be able give key examples to highlight your customer service and sales background and the ability to liaise with a diverse customer base is paramount. Working towards sales targets you will have a technical bias, be approachable, focused and comfortable attending site visits to complete the order.
You will be comfortable managing your own clients, working with an in-house database, and being pro-active in following up previous quotes in order to meet potential future needs and maximising revenue. You will be competent in use of all Microsoft Office packages to include Excel, Outlook and databases.
The individual will display a strong work ethic to achieving great results. In return, you can expect a good basic salary and competitive commission structure offering on target earnings of up to £35k to £40k for the right person - there is no cap on this. A car is required and mileage allowance paid - the company offers 28 days of holiday per year. Following successful probation the company offer a vehicle with the role.
