Our global, and well-established manufacturing client is looking for an CNC staff at all levels (setting, operating, or programming) to join their team to support in the ongoing development and manufacture of market leading goods.
You will be required to set and operate CNC multi-tasking lathes to manufacture components from raw material for internal assembly flow lines to the highest quality and on time.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Setting and operating CNC multi-tasking lathes; * Inspecting work produced using measuring equipment to Engineering drawings and reporting any quality defects to supervision; * Daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checks on machines, including maintaining good housekeeping standards and reporting any issues promptly to supervision; * Optimising efficiencies through reduced set-up and cycle times, plus tool life monitoring; * Deburring, cleaning, final inspection and completion of all tractability documentation; * Liaising with Team Leaders and Supervisors to ensure work is completed on time; * Adhering to Health and Safety procedures; * Carry out such other duties that may be reasonably requested.
