Join a leading Construction company, our client based in Kent are looking to employ the services of an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their growing team covering the South East.
Reporting to the directly into the director's the successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, organisation, control, monitoring and review of Health and Safety functions to enable the company to operate successfully.

Your duties will include:
* Carryout regular Site Safety Audits; * Carryout pre-qualifications on Health, Safety & Quality questionnaires for Main Contractors; * Carryout Audits for QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental) for third parties such as ISOs 9001, 14001 and 18001 and Achilles; * Monthly Management Reporting; * Conducting random drug and alcohol testing; * Continuously seeking, proposing and implementing agreed H&S and environmental performance improvements; * Investigating the environmental implications of the company's activities and suggesting actions which may prove beneficial to the environment, the company or others; * Provide advice to company employees , senior managers, managers and staff, on all aspects appertaining to health, safety and environmental matters and in particular advice and guidance on the preparation of Health & Safety Plans, Method Statements, Risk Assessments and other health, safety environmental documentation; * Ensure all company employees are aware of their responsibilities under the Health and Safety legislation and complying with the company handbook;The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar role within a Construction environment. Holding a recognised construction Health & Safety qualification; * Due to the nature of this role a full driving licence will be require as well as access to your own transport.
