Our client, a leading educational business based in Northamptonshire are looking for an experienced Human Resources Administrator to join them on a contract to cover a maternity leave.
Whilst working and supporting the HR Business Partner, the candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support for a human resources function of c350 staff ensuring the safe recruitment procedures are adhered to at all times. This role will be a great next step for someone moving their way into the HR Advisor arena.
Main duties will include:
* Prepare and issue contracts of employment and contract amendments; * To compile job descriptions, recruitment adverts and the supporting with the recruitment of a variety of staff; * To ensure completion of appropriate employment and vetting checks; * To provide generalist HR advise giving guidance and support to all staff.
* Experience of working in a generalist HR Role (including all aspects of recruitment); * CIPD would be an advantage, up to date knowledge of employment legislation and its practical application; * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; * Good time management with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise as necessary.
* Previous experience of working as an HR Administrator or HR Assistant in a school.
Full time hours, Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm with an hour for lunch. 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and salary circa £25,000 - £26,000 dependent on experience and skills.
