Are you an experienced IT Manager who is successfully managing an IT infrastructure? You will be customer focused to deliver support to all staff on site, working on first to third line issues and roll out Office 365 deployment. This is an opportunity for someone to work with vast mix of people, all at different levels.
You will have a strategic overview of how to develop IT systems and deploy long-term commercial IT plans, suiting the needs of the business and for those working on-site.
* Able to provide support dealing with first to third line issues and comfortable with at times, being the only person on-site providing IT support; * Patching, maintaining and monitoring of infrastructure and cloud services; * Experience in a highly virtualised environment (Hyper-V); * Good knowledge of Networking protocols (DHCP/DNS/IPv4-6) as well as the networking infrastructure that connects all (Switching L2 & 3/Fibre cabling/VLANs); * Wireless Network management (Meraki ideally); * Firewall and anti virus management; * Active Directory management; * File Server management (DFSR); * Group policy; * Print Server management; * Office 365 configuration and management; * Purchasing of hardware and software; * Knowledge of site-to-site VPNs and SSLVPN technologies; * Working knowledge of Raduis (NPS) authentication servers and maintaining a PKI.
* Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; * MCP or related IT qualification in desktop or server support/configuration; * Minimum of five years' experience in information technology.
