Full Job Description

Due to business growth, our progressive and forward-thinking client in Dover is looking for various Freight/Logistics Co-ordinators.

The role is full time and permanent, working nine hour day shifts across a shift pattern, core hours between 7am and 7.30pm. The key accountability of the role is to plan and manage time critical logistics solutions throughout Europe and worldwide, ensuring that tight deadlines are met and schedules are adhered to.

The incoming candidates will follow key processes to ensure each shipment is collected and delivered on time, as well as dealing with international carriers to source best solutions for clients. Through time, you will build excellent relationships with multinational clients.

Professional characteristics needed to be successful in the role will include the following; the ability to communicate well at all levels, the ability to work well within a team, determination to succeed under pressure, and demonstrable experience of working to time-critical deadlines.

A secondary language (written or spoken) would be advantageous but is not essential, and candidates will have tangible co-ordination experience within transport, logistics or freight. Please apply with your CV for more information.
