An experienced marketing manager is required for a client who are established in their sector and growing market share successfully.
The purpose of the role is to help produce and deliver the marketing strategy and drive the: marketing plan, leading the team and supporting the growth initiatives.
You should be experienced in marketing within the events industry and be degree educated in a related area. Ideally with at least 3 years experience at manager level or above and with demonstrable experience of of contributing to the development of marketing plans and strategies.
With skills gained in online and offline marketing - solid social media skills - copy writing and creating compelling campaigns, along with a proactive approach to being creative in using all platforms. This business operates in several well defined sectors and prides itself on delivery of high end projects and meeting clients expectations.
Reporting into the Marketing Director and managing director you will be a key influence and motivate your team to achieve the goals agreed.
Work with the sales team to create sales campaigns, focused on both new client growth and in-creased client retention. This includes messaging to drive revenue across all products such as digital, sponsorship, and future revenue opportunities.
Develop strategic audience development plans and ensure marketing communications accurately reflect the products positioning and key messaging. Be the lead in messaging and writing regarding our out-bound reach to our customers. Good communication and writing skills are imperative.
Collaborate with partners to develop marketing campaigns, lead generation strategies and compelling materials for all revenue streams across live and digital products.
Manage marketing budgets, purchase orders, and liaise with Finance on reporting requirements.
