A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our client at Discovery Park in Sandwich for an Office Manager to cover a maternity contract. If you are interested in working within Kent's leading science park and are available immediately to commence a contract, please read on.
The successful candidate should be dependable with the ability to work under pressure, be a great communicator with excellent PA/administration experience and have some knowledge of covering elements of accounts. However due to the handover, training in certain areas can and will be given.
Working within a busy office environment, you will be the cog of the wheel, reporting to the Directors and liaising daily with internal staff and key stakeholders. The role will cover a variety of office management and PA type duties together with an element of the basic accounting function and expenses.
Duties will include:
* Being the first point of contact in the office, dealing with incoming telephone calls and emails; * High level of administrative and PA duties to include the booking of meeting rooms, diary management and reporting for the Directors; * Carrying out the basic HR function in terms of dealing with staff holiday and sick leave and arranging staff appraisals; * Updating the website and social media channels; * Calculating invoices, uploading purchase ledgers and various other duties on SAGE.
Working in modern offices, core hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm. Gym, restaurant and coffee shop facilities on site. If you would be interested in joining the Discovery Park community, please do not hesitate to apply.
