Working within an NHS setting, this role will involve you working with diverse, multiples stakeholders in complex public sector environments and you will be delivering complex transformation programmes - planning and delivering programmes, projects and services on time.
You will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of specialist areas, acquired through specialist education of experience to Masters level and you will also evidence CPD and be a member of a relevant professional body. You must be qualified in programme or project management and have an understanding of the background and aims of current health and social care policy, whilst appreciating the implications of this on engagement.
In addition, you should have an appreciation of the relationship between the Department of Health, NHS England, NHS Improvement, local authorities and individual provider and commissioning organisations.
Skills required include:
* Good presentational skills for conveying complex concepts; * Ability to use informed persuasion to influence others; * Ability to identify risks, anticipate issues and create solutions and to resolve problems in relation to programme delivery; * Ability to understand a broad range of complex information quickly and making decisions where opinions differ/no obvious solution; * Ability to deliver at pace in complex environment; * Ability to work without supervision, providing specialist advice to the workstream, working to tight and often changing timescales; * Interpreting national policy for implementation; * Ability to move between details and the bigger picture.
