I am looking for 2 Sales Managers to work for a market leader in defence industry one of the roles is looking after SME-EO-ISTAR and the second role will be looking after SME UAS.
To be considered for this role you will need to have a proven track record in one of the above industries so please only apply if this is the case. Below is an idea of the main duties and responsibilities.
Devise and implement actions to discover, identify and qualify the requirements of new business opportunities. Map and align client requirements to the capabilities of the client and highlight potential risks and issues that may arise in the pursuit of specific opportunities.
Develop and maintain the trust and confidence of the company's major accounts and channel partners as well as being responsible for the commercial relationship of assigned accounts.
Win new business at assigned accounts through effective teamwork with parent division and achieve company targets as assigned personally and collectively to the Sales and Business Development Team
Maintain current knowledge of the market for military EO-ISTAR / UAS opportunities for them. Leverage own subject matter expertise to feedback new market requirements to respective product lines.
Understand and assess competitor SWOT to inform product road-map plans.
Support the preparation of sales bids and proposals as well as being able to support international conferences and trade shows as well as customer demonstrations.
The right candidate will ideally be Ex-Military with proven operational experience and credentials as an operator/trainer or instructor familiar with the equipment and regulatory aspects of UAS or EO-ISTAR and the sensors and systems.
Alternatively we will consider an individual with a wealth of experience in engineering and marketing of UAS or EO-ISTAR sensors and systems.
