The incoming candidate will be a successful Sales/Commercial Manager with demonstrable experience of the operating at managerial level within the food and beverage sector. The firm are looking for a real foodie - a dynamic individual who will be able to secure new revenue streams by showcasing their passion for everything food and drink!
Managing five sales professionals (remote and local) - the role will see the post holder look after internal sales and commercial operations, but also undertake key external sales pitches and meetings with high spending key accounts and top business prospects.
As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for:
* Achieve growth in the business, set new selling standards; * Ensure the sales team are over achieving their targets as individuals and a team; * Set objectives for the team as well as targets, and coaching and performance management; * Recruitment of dynamic sales professionals; * Build and maintain long-lasting go-to client relationships, working with them to ensure all needs are met by the business; * Work closely with the senior management team to deliver company performance and objectives; * Identify emerging markets and market shifts, ensuring the business is always innovative and presenting itself at the right quality and price in the current market.
