In an exciting, multi-faceted role, you'll work in collaboration with the Production Director - designing, developing and chartering technical projects across the plant, acting as the conduit between production, process, quality, and technical departments. Key accountabilities and outputs of the role will include:
* Leading technical function responsible for product and process Quality. You will optimise and control all critical variables in the production process and work with colleagues across the wider organisation to deliver goals and drive sustainable improvement; * Defining implement Lean systems of working and deploy tools to drive our Continuous Improvement journey; You set direction for and lead the CI Coordinator in executing the Lean Roadmap; * You are required to assist in developing a clear vision for the Plant, define strategies and deploy organisational goals to meet it; at all times operating in line with the Company's ambition and Leadership principles; * You are accountable for ensuring customer satisfaction is at the heart of the manufacturing activity and is a key element of every decision making process; * You are required to identify the outstanding achievements of our people and ensure that success is celebrated.
The firm are looking for a Degree qualified candidate (Chemistry, Engineering), who has proven experience of leading lean/continuous improvement manufacturing programmes within a continuous flow process or FMCG environment.
Working experience of working with quality systems and auditing processes is required, as are time-tested leadership skills.
